

Many will say "go opensource!", yes it's great, for those that have the time to research and continue tuning their cars as a continuous hobby ( or again as I mentioned earlier, for a tuner that has spent the time, and is good with the system). It costs a little more than open source tuning (typically, depends on your tuner), both are reliable since it is the factory system (given that you have a good tuner). It is a proven system with a company backing it up with good customer service. In my opinion, if you have a good tuner nearby that has an EcuTek system, I'd go with that. #2) The end goal of your car, and what modifications you are going to use to get to that point will mean that one tuning system may cater more to your goals than another tuning system. Who you choose to tune your car will have a system he is much more familiar and efficient with. 100 people will give you a 100 different answers.
